Toktok must always be written in one word. In 1993, Toktok was founded in the Trash Chapter of a Squad in Berlin Friedrichshain, the "Schizzotempel". The activists were Benjamin Weiss as NERK, Carsten Neubauer as C14, Robert Stadler as ANTON WALDT and Fabian Feyerabendt as FABIAN FEYERABENDT. Stevie as STEFAN KÜCHENMEISTER (the official Toktok DJ) joined shortly after this. In the following seven years nothing special happened, except:
The foundation of our first label GEMA with one release of which 500 were pressed and the incredible amount of four were sold. That was kind of frustrating at first, but we kept on making tracks and the editions and sales increased slowly but continuously...
