An excellent music programme, foreign and Croatian music acts, DJ sets, a non-stop party zone, workshops and lectures, exhibitions and performances, camping, entertainment, ecology, bathing in the sea and the sun… simply put, Terraneo is a music festival that offers a whole week of unforgettable summer fun!

Terraneo festival is held at a disused military facility just outside the centre of Šibenik, which, during the festival, transforms into a busy little town with an especially warm and intimate atmosphere. Conveniently located at the heart of Dalmatia and held at the beginning of August, in the height of summer, Terraneo is a perfect addition to the tourist offer of the region, making it an attractive destination for thousands of young, urban people in search of quality entertainment.

The first edition of Terraneo Festival, held in August of 2011, drew over 30,000 visitors to Šibenik from around Europe. The 5-day music programme with over 120 music acts on 3 open-air stages and in 2 DJ hangars was conceived to appeal to the most refined of music palates. Terra, Aqua and Aero stages had the privilege to showcase some of the most popular performers on the music scene today, such as: The National, Janelle Monáe, La Roux, The Fall, Crystal Castles, Mogwai and many others.



There was also a 3-day ecological and environmental programme, held at the Solaris Hotel Resort, consisting of creative workshops, lectures and screenings. The diverse entertainment possibilities and the positive atmosphere spreading around Terraneo from the very first moment, make it clear that Terraneo was a brave idea well-worthwhile transforming into reality.
